Boston-area development giant WS Development purchased The Royal Poinciana Plaza for $22.5 million in 2014 and completed a multimillion-dollar restoration and revitalization on the historic shopping center three years later. Transformed into a 180,000-square-foot destination for indulgence, inspiration and retreat, The Royal called for an equally alluring website experience that would create a feeling of FOMO among luxury consumers. Ideabar’s web designers created an online oasis that beckoned those discerning shoppers to Palm Beach through an interactive directory, dynamic filters and Instagram-style pop-ups for use on both desktop and mobile platforms. Awards followed, and so did foot traffic.
