30 ways Ideabar is going green in our office

Back to blog

The daily dialogue in our breakroom is often related to waste management and the impact that food and nutrition have on our health, the environment and animals. We are inspired by our national sustainability program, Cox Conserves, and the goals they have set to send zero waste to landfill by 2024 and to be carbon and water neutral by 2044. We are thankful every day for our corporation that is values-driven that invests in the long-term growth of our people and our planet. To achieve these aggressive goals, we continue to identify ways we can become greener at work and at home.

Our identity is enhanced through a sense of place. It is proven that a greener workplace fosters creativity. It is our social responsibility to be enthusiastic, contagious, encouraging and, caught up in conversation over conservation, and then turn our conversations into actions! It is up to us to increase our awareness, educate ourselves and become more active to protect our precious environment.
