ideabar wins 8 AAF advertising awards – plus Judges’ Choice

You don’t do it for the advertising awards. But a little recognition goes a long way.

So we’re proud to announce that the Ideabar creative team won big at the AAF American Advertising Awards Treasure Coast competition for work completed in 2016.

 

We captured honors in every category we entered.

 

Competing against agencies in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties, Ideabar picked up five gold and three silver awards. Plus, we won the prestigious Judges’ Award.

The wins came in the categories of advertising campaign, consumer website, interactive email, logo design and in-theater commercial.

Ideabar art director Kevin Blandon and graphic designer Daniel Sauceda represented Ideabar at the gala, held at the Pittenger Center in Stuart, Fla.

Ideabar intern Annie Mayer also picked up six awards on her own – five in the student competition and one in the professional contest.

Formerly known as the ADDYs, the awards are the advertising industry’s largest competition. They attract more than 40,000 entries nationwide each year.

Three Florida members of the AAF judged the 84 professional and 32 student entries for the Treasure Coast division.

Now, many of our winning entries will advance to the regional competition and, if they win there, go on to nationals.
